Intel powered AZ210 smartphone gets Bluetooth certified, it’s probably the Lava XOLO X900

Even though lately Nvidia’s Tegra 3, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 and Apple’s A5X have been the mobile processors everyone has talked about, there is another platform that should launch pretty soon and that might or in fact should draw some serious attention. I’m talking of course about Intel’s Medfield chips, which should power a couple of smartphones and tablets due for release in the coming months. One such smartphone has just surfaced on the web and is mysteriously codenamed AZ210. The Intel Medfield powered smartphone has gotten Bluetooth certification a couple of days back and, even though its codename doesn’t say much, if we take a look at its suspected tech specs and looks, we can safely assume that we are dealing with a gadget that has already been presented to the public. Does anyone remember the Lava XOLO X900 ? Well, if my suspicions prove true, the X900 and the AZ210 are one and the same device and they (or rather it) should hit the market as soon as next month.

Intel Core i7 arrives in December

At long last, Intel is set to roll out its latest update to the Core line of CPUs, and it’s a big one. Called Core i7, it officially arrives this month, but a final, official date has still not been set. (Most have speculated that November 17 is the arrival date, but I’ve seen reports that it will officially be out before next weekend.) You will, however start seeing official reviews of i7-based systems starting tomorrow, so the time is nigh.
